List of Cruelty-free brands available at Sokos!

Sorry for the lack of updates!

In case you have missed, NYX is now available at Sokos! Inspired by that, I decided to create a list with CF brands I found available at their stores. Remember, not all brands are vegan but they're all Cruelty-Free (which means they do not test their products (or its ingredients) on animals and they don't sell in China)

- bareMinerals
- BeautyBlender
- Bulldog
- Dr. Hauschka
- EcoTools
- Eylure
- Four Reasons
- Formula 10.0.6
- Gosh cosmetics
- Hurraw!
- I Love... Cosmetics
- IsaDora
- Joe Blasco
- KC Professionals
- Lavera
- Lumene
- Make Up Store
- NYX
- Paul Mitchell
- Real Techniques
- Sante
- Urban Decay (UD products are only available on physical stores in Helsinki, Tampere and Oulu and on their online shop)
- Weleda
- Ziaja

PS: NYX and Urban Decay's parent company is L'oreal, however they do not conduct animal tests nor sell in China; bareMinerals is a cruelty-free brand, but the company's owned by Shiseido. Also some of their brushes are not cruelty-free!

  1. Really happy that NYX finally made it to Finland, I feel like affordable professional makeup was definitely needed here :)
We Care Icon is another brand sold at Sokos which doesn't test on animals (https://inspiroidu.sokos.fi/2015/joulukuu/we-care-icon-kosmetiikkasarja-valittaa-aidosti)
I wish more cruelty-free brands would become available in Finland! Being able to purchase Wet'n'Wild and Milani in physical stores would be nice :)

  2. Hello, I was wondering if you were still updating this blog? I have heard conflicting information about The Body Shop and L'Oreal (and doing a quick search can tell you why. There's lots of articles about it.) Also, I'm trying to find out anything about a company called Mossa? They make 1-2 products sold in Finland, and they at least appear to not do any animal testing, but it's hard to find information about them.

Thanks so much, either way! Glad to see this blog, since I am American living in Finland, and it can be a struggle to find information about cosmetics or hygiene products where animal testing is concerned.
